Woodside Hotel

After walking around the town, decided to have lunch here. On a chilly winters day it was so nice to sit down in such a warm cosy dining room. Good pub menu, very clean and a lovely welcoming waitress.

I have been here a few times with friends and the food and service is usually great- I just wouldn't order the vegetables with a schnitzel as they are soggy! Salad is good though! We will definitely be back again!

We were part of 30 plus group booked in for Lunch on Sunday. The "WOW" factor was all the little things they had done to make us welcome. Warm wood fires burning in both lounge/dinning & bar, Special menus for our group all printed and on the tables. Greeted with warm smiles from all the staff. The FOOD, to die for great portions scrummy yummy. Pauline had Chicken Roulade and I had the Mushroom Pie not a crumb left on either plate nor on any other club members plates. Thank You Woodside Hotel for a great Lunch.

I went here with a group of friends for dinner. The service was great and meals were delicious- everyone was very happy with what they had ordered! Prices were also reasonable.

Had lunch here with friends. Food was really good as was the service by the staff. The Hotel is laid out in the older style ie Saloon Bar and Front Bar out front and the Dining Room at the rear. Staff were really good. More than happy to come back again.
