Bidra med feedbackWe went on a Friday at 2pm, to avoid crowd (we 're high-risk for Covid. There were other customers, and lots of ceiling fans and good table separation in the dining rooms. My husband is a former Marine, and we both loved this place. Service was excellent,Daniel waited on us and was very easy going and attentive. The food was very tasty and didn 't take long: burger cooked med/rare,fish chips, and banana pudding. Atmosphere...can 't say enough about the amount of veteran-contributed memorabilia. Every walland horizontal space had something regarding the Marine Corp, or other branches of our US military. There is even a permanenttable setting for POW/MIA so we 'll never forget. My grandfather fought in the China-Burma-India Theater (for the Kuomintang andthere was even a poster regarding this on the wall in the big room! The owners, Carrie and Ralph, were charming and took thetime to talk to us about their USMC experiences, the restaurant, their vision for expansion, and their annual USMC birthdayparty. What a wonderful place for military AND non-military persons to dine! A must-visit place for all. P.S. They have booksthat you can borrow on the honor system, and a calendar of events which includes free pie days!
I have been hearing of this place so I had to give it a try. Had a a great burger. But I was also told to try a **** Mary. I admit it is not a goto drink for me but it was delicious and unique. Piece of candied bacon on top and a hollowed out slim Jimthat you could use as a straw. Friendly staff and customers. (Most have served in the armed forces) Will be back to try moreof the menu.
First time here. Great food. Mia was an excellent waitress. We will definitely eat here again. Great place to eat!
BLUF: The waitress and staff have excellent professionalism so the issue is not with them but the sub-par food. Rally Point is the successor to Semper Fi Bar and Grill, and while the new name, updates and location showed promise, we've gone months between dining visits. Forgetting why we don't come back often we tried going over there tonight. If you get a burger you'll have a decent chance of getting something okay. Anything else it's a game of Russian Roulette with 4 rounds loaded not in your favor. We had to wait for a table for 10-15 minutes, which was fine. We were warned it would be noisy where we would be sitting, also fine. We had an extended wait for our food, and we understood because it is a Friday so fine with that as well. However, $16 for soggy fish, cool and soggy French Fries is not. I didn't want to finish my food. With my wife's meal the fried chicken tenders had an old overcooked oil taste with potatoes looking as if they just reheated them. She couldn't finish her meal. The children had burgers, so they were able to finish them but not their sides (same issue). The onion rings were plain awful. After going to Semper Fi, and trying Rally Point multiple times, we decided not to come back.
Great place! Sam was awsome! Good food (love the onion rings) and great hospitality!
