Our favorite Chinese takeout spot, always delicious. The staff are very friendly. It tends to be busy, so it's best to call ahead to place your order and pick it up.

I had an amazing experience ordering from this Chinese restaurant for my family tonight! The food was of very high quality and arrived well packed and very hot. The delivery driver was very polite and the prices were cheap. This will definitely become our go-to Chinese restaurant for family meals. Thank you for the great experience!

I ordered a lamb curry Thai style it was a liquid very runny with fatty gristle that should have been lamb and potatoes in it it was probably the worse thing I have tasted it went in the bin appalling

I phoned up to place an order at the Fortune Inn ready prepared with what I wanted. I was asked for a name and whether I wanted to pick up or delivered and then what I wanted. I said Pad Thai Chicken Noodles and...she repeated Pad This Chicken so I repeated my order. She then said they did three Pad Thai’s and if I waited she was going to tell me about all three. I waited and when she was ready she asked for the next one. I slowly said Kung Po Chilli Chicken. She then said that she fully understand what I was saying and I didn’t need to say it slowly. She sounding English, but by this time I’d decided to go to one of the other locals so put the phone down. Didn’t get to the food, so no idea whether it’s any good, but based on the helpful attitude I’ll not be going back!

I placed an order at for collection. It was sitting bagged up and waiting for me when I got there at should have told me something. The chicken chow mein was extremely dry, the crispy seaweed was chewy and soft, the chicken balls...were luke warm and the shredded chilli beef was already concealed. I feel totally ripped off and also slightly sick at the thought of being served with warmed-up leftovers from the day before. Disgusting. I've been a customer of Fortune Inn for a long time but after this experience I won't be going back. Oh, and their card machine has been broken for a few months now so you have to pay in cash.....nice little bit of tax avoidance going on too IMHO.
