The Highdown - Worthing

I just enjoyed some drinks that were promptly served at our outdoor table. My family had meals that looked delicious, especially the child’s roast, which was particularly impressive. My daughter cleared her plate, so it must have tasted great! The restaurant is dog-friendly and has a spacious garden area.

This is an excellent pub/restaurant. After my previous visits years ago when it was a (terrible establishment), I was pleasantly surprised to find well-cooked, hot food offered at a very reasonable price. The location is fantastic, although the area outside is a paradise for dog walkers—great if you love dogs, but not so much if you don't! There's plenty of free parking and a wonderfully friendly atmosphere. It’s hard to find any faults here.

Loved my stay here at the Highdown. The tea rooms were pleasant, the gardens were beautiful and the hotel room and breakfast were wonderful. Still chuckling about a picture hanging upside down in the bar! I'll definitely pay a return visit in the future.

Lived in the area 3 yrs now and only recently found this lovely pub.!! Another dog friendly place, nice staff, very friendly, great menu, a lovely roaring fire for the colder days, good selection of drinks. I recommend this place.. And next door part of the pub/Hotel, there is a cafe..haven't tried it yet. It all looks very nice. Give it a go.

I give this place a perfect 10/10 across the board! The pub is stunning and the food is delicious. It's very pet-friendly too—our dogs were welcome in both the pub and the hotel! The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a stylish, luxurious appearance. We had a wonderful time during our bank holiday here!
