Batty's Better Batter - WOY WOY

Tried the fish and chips and the “plain burger”. The fish and chips are crispy and delicious and they come wrapped in white paper, perfect for eating on the beach or near the water. The plain burger was a little pricy at $7 but they have “tap to pay”. The burger is quite juicy and full. The square bun was. Touch dry but the ingredients make up for it. It’s got a beef patty, bbq sauce, lettuce, tomato, shredded carrot and beetroot. Overall I’d recommend this place. Friendly staff and good location. Worth noting though, at the moment you can’t eat in the shop so it’s all take away

One of the best fish and chips I’ve had! The set meal was $9.50, hard to find such prices in Sydney. The burger was amazing too and the portion was pretty big.

Went here after I missed a train. Close to the station to grab a quick bite. Reasonably priced food, prompt service and friendly staff. Basic chip shop fare, pretty tasty chips and scallops.

I bought a fisherman basket.I got home did not get a piece of fish and not many chips. It’s the worst one I have bought from there. I took photo straight after I open it. looks like yesterday leftovers.I would never recommend this fish shop.my mum was with me who is 84 years old on a walking stick, and the floor was slippery, she started sliding on the floor, She look back and they were giggling at her. Not asking her if she was okay. On my experience i would not recommend them.

My mum and I used to go here all the time, the staff were lovely and the food was good. We loved the hamburger. Unfortunately tho yesterday when we went, the shop smelt a little dirty, which I’d never experienced before there. The hamburgers weren’t nice, hardly any sauce, dry the bread of the burger literally fell apart and seemed old. Super oily and it made me feel a bit sick afterwards. It was pouring down raining and I’d already paid, otherwise I honestly wouldn’t have eaten it. Just overall a waste of money, I would have been better off going to grilld.
