Bidra med feedbackTwo stars for the people who actually helped me and cared about my well being (ie Mandy, Sarah, Kaitlyn, and some of the techs. Not all though). I actually got assaulted by a client there while I was a patient at the ranch. The clients themselves actually ended up calling the cops because the tech won’t. And it took a few days to kick out the guy who assaulted me even after they reviewed the camera. I also almost had to leave because of my insurance. I fought it and got gaslit by the old executive director, the admissions director and Jay because they got rid of my room before I even left and they also questioned whether or not I actually got assaulted. And when I spoke to them sobbing I was threatened to be sent to another program. I used to love the ranch. But things have definitely gone down hill. Oh and I wrote out a long extended review a few months ago but it got deleted, and replaced by my old review. So I deleted the old review and a making this. I also never got contacted by anyone from corporate after all of this.
This restaurant might be worth trying, but my husband was charged $68,000 instead of the quoted $26,500 for his 30-day stay. I have contacted billing and my insurance company and may need to involve my attorney. Is this a scam? I will reach out to the BBB for clarification.
I didn't have high expectations for the ranch, but I was pleasantly surprised. Participating in all the activities offered made a big difference. The staff is great and the groups are helpful if you make an effort. I especially enjoyed the experiential group, which involved physical activities like puzzles and a high ropes course that were related to mental health and addiction struggles. Mandy is a standout staff member who is always there to help with a smile. The people you meet at the ranch make a big impact, creating a close-knit community that feels like family. I will definitely stay connected with them for a lifetime.
As a licensed social worker, I have to say that my experience with The Ranch for rehab was extremely disappointing. After sending my son there following an overdose, we were horrified to discover that personal items and even snacks were stolen from him. The lack of security, with cabin doors that did not lock, made my son feel uncomfortable throughout his stay. His therapist, Stuart, only conducted one therapy session in a month, with the other four meetings focused on convincing him to join a PHP program for incentives. As a fellow therapist, I am shocked by the unprofessionalism and mistreatment my son faced at this facility, including behavioral health technicians dating each other, verbal abuse, and humiliation. I strongly advise against choosing The Ranch for rehab services.
The Ranch is a wonderful place for treatment especially for mental health. The therapist are trained to help out patients both for mental health and substance abuse. If you come here and work hard, you WILL leave a better more constructed person.Food is a sticky slope but there are options for everyone. Breakfast consists of scrambled eggs, omelets, and egg patties with other options such as cereal, bread, and bagels as everyday staples. Lunch and Dinner are different each day either consisting of soup, meat, vegetables, noodles/pasta, rice, etc. For those who have dietary plans or needs, they have options such as beyond burgers and chicken nuggets. For gluten free eaters, they have gluten free bread and other options. For picky eaters like myself, the cooks understand our needs but didn’t comply unless it’s on your dietary plan unless they won’t do anything for you.The cottages are well constructed as rooms consist of two or three beds with six rooms per cottage. Showers and bathrooms are clean and work. All cottages have a TV with Xfinity or BlueRay.Staff are friendly and willing to get whatever you need throughout your stay in treatment, just be patient. Overall my experience was very positive and productive as I would recommend this place to everyone who’s in need either in PA or NJ.Thank you Ranch for everything?
