Bullwheel Grill - Wrightwood

This place is incredibly affordable and family-friendly. It’s cozy and comfortable, reminding me of the joyful times we had in the snow during our youth. It brings back happy memories. Unfortunately, I live in Los Angeles, where most people don’t understand what a true whiteout is. When it snows, I take full advantage of my unlimited freezer space! I’m really looking forward to visiting Vermont, where a friend of mine moved for her glacier hiking and climbing adventures. You shouldn’t complain about the service here; remember, it’s not a fancy ski resort in Colorado! Just a two-hour drive from the Los Angeles valley. If you ever get the chance to visit, I recommend grabbing a cold beer and some chicken strips. It could feel like paradise when the snow blankets everything in a soft, fluffy layer, creating a stunning panorama. What more could I ask for? Snow and skiing on March 23, 2024!

We visit this charming spot every week. Each time we go to Mt. High, we find ourselves enjoying a meal at Bullwheel rather than at the usual cafeteria at the base. The menu here is more appealing, offering a selection of dishes that are slightly better than what's at the cafeteria, along with a full bar. The friendly staff and prompt service enhance the experience every time we come.

This restaurant is located at Mt. High Resort near the snow school. If you enroll in a full day of lessons, this is the ideal spot for lunch. The lunch break between lessons lasts for an hour, making it very convenient. The food we had was delicious enough that we’ll definitely return on our next visit. The seating is spacious, and the natural light streaming through the windows creates a cozy and comfortable atmosphere.

The Fries!!! Bull wood was the perfect break between boarding and snow play! But the fries were amazing!! Huge seasoned steak fries!! Sit inside next to the fire place or outside at the fire pit and enjoy a bite and a cold beer!!

Super awesome ski-lodge style, old school spot, right on the slopes. If you dont love this spot, likely you 're not really a skier/boarder or overall mtn person . Try the food court, down in Ontario, at the mall, when it opens. Seriously, I really like this spot. Service can be slow, but its limited staff. Relax. All I know is that the service always seems quick enogh to where I question if it 's a great idea to take more runs. Food is always good.
