Bidra med feedbackEdit- So after a few months the food got better the rice is nice and just the way i remember it its improved so much well deserving of a 5 star old review- It use to be great but now under the new management the food as dropped in quality. The fried rice is always hard and taste stale and the chicken tough. I'm hoping as the new owner and cooks get there baring the food will get better and I'll change my review.
Ever since new ownership (they can?t even admit it) they are not as good. I use to tell everyone about how good the food was, but now I tell everyone how greatly their food has changed. The new cooks can?t seem to get the fried rice the same way, or anything else for that matter. I also don?t know how well I can trust them since they can?t even be honest when they are asked if they are the new owners. Instead they would lie and say they don?t work at night anymore. What else could they be lying about ???
I came here because of all of the raving reviews, and was sort of disappointed. It's a regular American Chinese place. The Orange Chicken fried rice were pretty good. The Hot Sour soup had potential, but was way too salty. The lady that took our order was polite and spoke pretty good English. My main issue, though, is that inside, the place is very old and worn, a large area was littered with disorganized cardboard boxes, the rugs on the floor had holes in them. And this is fine if your lunch is around $5. But I ended up paying $10 for Orange Chicken soup, same price I usually pay for lunch at nice, modern, clean restaurants with regular service. For a typical cheap middle-of-nowhere Chinese place, the prices not cheap at all. I wouldn't mind paying that much or more, but they would need to seriously fix up the place for that.
Gold Lee is my family's favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. The dishes are always delicious and fresh!
The restaurant has its ups and downs. On the positive side, the food is tasty, and the best dish on the menu is the Tso Chicken, which stands out from what you typically find elsewhere. Additionally, the rice is always fresh. However, there are some downsides. They don't offer delivery for orders under $10, and it can take up to 45 minutes for your food to arrive. Also, you need to spend at least $20 to use a credit card, or you will incur an extra charge.
