Bidra med feedbackI usually treat myself to afternoon tea for my birthday, but this time I had some shopping to do. Luckily, Mozzers came to the rescue! I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary for £12 for two people. It was cheap and cheerful. We often go there for breakfast because Wendy and her team are so friendly. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food we received. We each had 3 triangle sandwiches - prawn mayo, egg mayo, and plain ham, a pork pie, a piece of ginger cake, a piece of lemon drizzle cake, and a brownie. We also had a cheesecake, a lovely flat fruit scone with clotted cream and jam, and bottomless tea. Everything was fresh and delicious. We couldn't finish it all and ended up boxing half of it for later. It felt like we had two meals in one day when we added chicken, bacon, and avocado sandwiches to the second sitting. It may not be the fanciest place around, but for the price, it was amazing. We enjoyed listening to UB40's "Rat in Mi Kitchen" playing on the supermarket radio while we indulged in all the sugary treats. It was a great value for the money.
On the picture if looked so appetising unfortunately it did not match the picturethe bacon was ok and plentiful the actual bread had the appearance of being underdone and it was not buttered so just dry underdone bread. needless to say we will not return
Me and the wife had some business to conduct in Evesham after which we decided to find a place to dine. Morrison's have only disappointed us once so we did not hesitate to patronise his Evesham establishment. As usual the meal was well presented, hot and the tea we quaffed was of good standard. Yes we did wait a little longer than normal but this is to be expected when working under the present Covid Crisis. That exception I mentioned when a Morrisons Cafe did not meet my expectations was put right due to my not eating the meal, which was returned and replaced. Thus it did not get a negative comment on my review.
I was in need of some food after a hard days graft at the GSWR, I thought I would pick up a sandwich at Morrison's but looked at the Cafe menu which seemed quite good. Ordered the Butternut squash lasagna with salad. Lots of salad and nice lasagna and a drink for £6, I will definitely stop here again.
