Locals Coffee Roastery Cafe - Wyndmoor

I’ve gone twice and both times my coffees tasted horribly.Further detail:I went on on Friday, June 23rd and July 14th. The first time, I ordered an iced coffee with Vanilla. The coffee was week and barely had any flavor. On the 14th, I ordered a Caramel macchiatowith non-fat milk, the coffee tasted burnt. I ended up having a few sips on both before throwing them out on my walk home.

Good coffee. High top tables to allow you to stand. Low tops as well. Light fare. Minimal to no places to charge a

Nice people, good food, good coffee (but a little to dark, over roasted for my taste, I needed more sugar then I would normally use).

We stopped in here a couple weeks ago on one of our regular visits to the area. It was our first time and we really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and helpful, our bagel sandwiches were good as was the iced coffee, and they had whole bean decaf for sale! The person who checked in the back for me to make sure the decaf was available was very friendly, and when I got home the coffee did not disappoint. I'll probably come here every time we visit the area from now on. It's neat that it's in the old bank too--I think it was Santander(Sovereign) when we lived there years ago!

The first time I decide to visit, it WOULD be during the Memorial Day Parade! SMH. Which also was an awesome first time experience! I came for coffee but thought I 'd try one of their Spring special Honey Lavender White Mocha hot drink with a lemon loaf. Reasonable wait considering. Tables outside as well as in. Fake fireplace in the child area which had comfy lounge chairs in case the kids get a little antsy. think Starbucks but kid friendly, didn 't see any peculiar looking fellows on laptops. If you catch my drift. . I does have a drive thru however hence the parade happening only people filled the lane. Lol. I live a good 10 blocks away so for me it was an ideal place to burn some calories walking. F.Y.I there is on site parking available. Super nice like a hot rod cruiser!Kid-friendliness: Carpet area in front of store with a comfy chair couch with kids blocks/toys or at least the children were playing with.
