Such a lovely little place.I was visiting York with my husband for a couple of nights and whilst my husband was watching football I decided to visit this place for a spot of lunch and it didn’t disappoint.I ordered a chicken and bacon salad which was delicious.I didn’t have a cake but was very tempted.Staff seemed very friendly and accommodating.

You could easily walk past the doorway to this place but it’s worth looking for. The menu has a good variety of well priced options. The quality and portion size is great. The service is excellent. Find this place and enjoy a great lunch.

We stop for lunch , all terrasse seem to be full when we saw this little restaurant on the second floor of a building in the square. Although the place has no terrasse it has plenty of window and fresh air. The lunch was delicious and strongly recommend this gem

This is a first for me hear and i was so very impressed with how it was so very clean and tables and chairs was set out and both the food and staff was very good and a very good menu as well to choose from and the staff said if wanted to change any thing on menu and add or take away it was no prob nothing is any prob for the very good staff we will be back soon to the great staff i say thank you for a very nice meal

We stumbled across Harlequin on a busy Saturday in York and were lucky enough to get the last table by the window. The staff were friendly, professional and gave us time to view the menu. Range of food on offer was excellent, and very reasonably priced. We had coffee and cake, then returned another day and had lunch of jacket potatoes. Very generous portion sizes. Toilet facilities are good and are cleaned regularly. Will definitely make this a go-to whenever we’re in York!
