Plonkers Wine And Beer - York

The restaurant is located in a beautiful spot by the river. The interior is well-presented and very clean. We enjoyed the fish cakes, which were delicious, and also tried the cheese plate, which was exquisite. The staff were friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this place.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were exceptionally courteous, especially since it was my birthday. They even suggested putting balloons on our table to celebrate, which added a lovely touch to the evening. If you're in York, I highly recommend dining here!

GreAt bar. Especially when you go with your girlfriend and order 2 carvery Sunday roast. Normally we would be left wanting for more...but our plates were so well stacked that I was beaten by a remaining portion of the huge st Yorkshire pudding I have ever seen, and my girlfriend was forced to leave some roasties! I would go back again if i was in york and wanted the best sunday roast. Id probably go back again anyway as it is set on the river and a great place for a drink.
