The Clifton - York

This is a wonderful little pub that used to be my local before I moved, but I still try to visit whenever I can. It's run by Bernard and his partner Sharron, both of whom are very friendly. They offer great beer and have a spacious beer garden, among other amenities.

I have dined at this pub on several occasions and have consistently found the food to be above average. The landlord is excellent, and the pub benefits from a large catchment area. It truly is a gem in the Clifton area, which makes its relative quietness surprising. Thank you once again for a wonderful experience. We had a fantastic evening. It was a peaceful atmosphere, and we felt very welcomed. Plus, it wasn't too far to carry the lady home afterward.

Had a small visit to our local for food brilliant staff as always and favorite food always made welcome with a beautiful greeting from the landlord Bernard Sharon and Julie x

This is a fab place, had food today well worth money. Clean friendly and the room rates are great. Go meet Sharon n bernie you won't be disappointed..
