The Terrace Sports - York

Lovely bar but if brains were dynamite the door staff wouldn’t have enough to blow their nose. Attended the venue with a few friends and after spending good money we were asked to leave without any reason given. Avoid!!!

I stopped by this pub on Sunday afternoon to watch the football game. The atmosphere was delightful! While it wasn't the coziest pub, the upstairs bathrooms were warmer than the downstairs area. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it.

The draft beers were excellent, with Inch's cider being particularly good and the Amstel being top quality. The burgers were very fulfilling as well. There are plenty of TVs around the restaurant showing sports, so cricket fans and horse race enthusiasts will have a great time. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly. Thanks for a great experience!

I went into the terrace for the first time, one Tuesday. Impressive with the service and how nice it looked. We decided to give their food a try. My friend ordered scampi and chips. I ordered toad in the hole, with mash and season vegetables. When our meals arrived at our table. Both plates were big portions. I really enjoyed my meal and I could only just manage to eat my meal. I would recommend trying the terrace. Monday to Thursday, john, smiths, Fosters, and one or two beers or larger are £3 a pint.
