Dickey's Barbecue Pit - York

So I bought a Groupon that said 10 for 20 and stil basically paid 20 for the meal so they get over on you and you’re paying 2x don’t use Groupon I spoke to the owner he needless to say ignorant and couldn’t understand what I was saying he said basically just to get customers in and thinking you’re getting a deal and it’s not however I’m gonna use it out camphill where it’s done correctly

This place was horrible, will not recommend to anyone and will never go back. We order pulled pork plate with fries and a brisket sandwich. The pork was undercooked and cold. Had to force myself to eat a few bites to not waste the complete $26 we spent. The fries were undercooked and had a nasty seasoning on them as well as they didn't have ketchup for them. The brisket was not brisket at all and was very dry and cold. The bread that came with the meal was so hard it could have broken a tooth and was utterly disgusting. The BBQ sauce was dry and cold. It was literally one of the worst experiences I've had, expected much more from a BBQ place and will make sure to choose and tell everyone to choose mission BBQ if they want good BBQ bc this place deserves negative stars.

Ordered two pork sandwich combos and 6 ribs. we both got french fries which were under cooked, my baked beans were hard and the main part the sandwich was down right un edible, every bit was hard ends. I even had to ask if they gave me the hard ends and she said no. I got two bites worth of chewable pork. The ribs were good though, it was our first time there and will be our last.

I 've been to Corkey 's (in memphis), Jackstacks (in KCMO) and Mission BBQ locally. And a few others odd and end BBQs places like SonniesDickeys is literally the worse BBQ place I have ever been to. A dollar menu Wendy 's Burger honestly tastes better and juicer than their meats.Dickeys is the quessential never do this equation of how to run a BBQ place.I have no idea what they 're doing wrong but it 's not just one local Dickeys. It 's like all of em. One day they may do well and the next day they 'll try to rip you off selling 15 dollar slimjims that 's suppose to be something elseThey honestly need complete new management from the top down and real cooks with a passion to BBQ

Beans were not cooked at all ….. how are baked beans crunchy ??? What a giant waste of money …. Everything that we ordered was bad … cabbage slaw no taste no flavor , brisket was all fatty no bark no smoked taste , pulled pork was consistency of what appeared to be shredded cat food …. Kielbasa I we chewy. 1 star because I can not give it a zero ….. I should have drove 3 minutes down the road to the mission bbq. Live an learn
