Shopsy's - York

The place needs a major face lift. The servers seem to have no personality at all The food is average and very expensive for what your getting.. Unfortunately I cannot say anything positive on my first and last experience here..

Food was tasty, ambience old, but ok, service simple but good. portions were VERY SMALL!!! We had a smoked meat and a corned beef sandwich. Both were very tasty and the fries were excellent. The amount of meat was more like an appetizer than lunch??!!

The food was okay but the service was not friendly at all! Wait staff seem quite put off when we asked for the wi-fi password and when the one that she gave us didn't work, she had no interest at all in trying to find the right one.

Amazing fresh food. Staff have been here for several years. Shopsy's is a treat and the best smoked meat. Reasonably priced. Will be back.

I had breakfast here just before Christmas and the experience was average at best. While the restaurant was far from full there was just one waitress working the large room. The service suffered accordingly - it took far too long to place our orders and get our food. Our waitress forgot some of our items and many of the tables in the room were downright filthy, The food was average or slightly better and there aren;t really many other decent options in the area.
