Grunow's Kitchen - Yorktown

A wonderful bistro experience! My wife and I enjoyed every bite and the taste was spectacular. You have a small staff that works very hard to bring food quickly with a full restaurant. Try it yourself!

Me and my son are gluten free and have been coming there for 2 years. Today we had a terrible experience. Our waitress was an angel Trisha. But the manager that came out, jane, was awful. My son doesn?t complain about food, ever but when we did Trisha immediately asked what she can get him to replace the chicken bites that literally disintegrated in his mouth and tasted awful. The fries came out cold. The pizza was disgusting. And when the manager came out she was very rude and short. She told us we were wrong that the loaded fries stay under a lamp so there?s no way they were cold which they were. And when we just tried to simply explain to her about the food she said we have never had a single complaint here and walked away. Meanwhile we hear her loudly yelling about us in the kitchen and I can?t even say what she said out loud because it certainly isn?t PG. Like I said the waitress was amazing and I have been coming here for years and never once had a bad experience but this just made me never want to come back and it?s very unfortunate because both my son and I have celiac disease and this is the only place that is a 100% GF restaurant. Very disappointed.

We had a truly wonderful experience here. The service was out of this world and the food tasted fantastic! Everything wasn't just gluten free but also really, really good. It was great to have incredible options and quality in a safe environment. Can't wait to go back!

I called ahead of time and was told to arrive before 1 as a large party was coming in. Arrived a little after 12 and was turned away as they weren?t accepting orders and didn?t know when they would be. So disappointed. I live in Oklahoma and have been looking forward to coming here for months. Drove an hour and a half from where I was staying to have lunch here. On the bright side, Colonial Pancake House was 20 minutes away and very accommodating for gluten free (celiac)

Did not know the entire menu is gluten free, it was a very pleasant surprise! Everything on the menu sounded delicious, so you have a ton of fantastic choices! What I ordered was absolutely tasty, will be back soon!!! ??
