The Ahwahnee - YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK

Amazing service! Amazing food! And great drinks! We enjoyed it there! I had the turkey chili and my friend had the short ribs. He had some of the local beers and I had the delicious blackberry Bourbon-Schmash!

I ordered coffee one afternoon and sat at the lobby, I told my sister to ask for a glass of water with ice. They gave her a glass of water but she said that the lady told her that there is a water in the fountain you can actually get some in there next time. What a service over a glass of water.

Quick service with fresh food and some nice cocktails. Their menu is limited but the quality makes up for it. Some highlights from the menu: Roasted quinoa bowl, Yosemite sour.

Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Overall: A cheaper alternative to the dining room. The extended review... Food: Artichoke Salad 3/5 I needed a little roughage and this did the trick. I think I was expecting a little bigger of a portion as it left me hungry. The taste was what was expected. Boysenberry Pie 3/5 So on the flip side what I found a little odd was that the dining room sold the same pie but the price was cheaper here. A pretty standard fare berry pie. Service: 3/5 Standard service. Ambiance: 4/5 I have to say that it was pretty comfy in here and of course it's nice to sit down and eat after a long hike.

This place is a disaster. Line out the door only because the Ahwahnee dining room is sold out. Absolutely minimal menu. Seating is minimal. Food is bad other than the giant pretzel. The nicest thing they sell is a prime rib sandwich that's COLD. Literally comes in saran wrap straight out of the fridge like you're buying it at a gas station mini mart. And because seating is minimal, they stuff it any which way in a togo bag. The mustard for our pretzel leaked all over the inside of the bag. Cocktails were OK but don't even think about 2nd rounds because you'll have to stand in line again for 20 minutes.
