Jakes Italian Bistro Brew - Yucaipa

We found this place while we're looking for something to eat in the area. We gave him a chance because there were great reviews. When we were here for the first time, the food was amazing. We ordered wings, pizzas and pasta trio. Everything was good with the service. We took our daughter back to her 21st. celebrating birthday and the experience was definitely not the same. When you arrive, they will give you fresh rolls while you wait. The waitress gave us old rolls without oil/butter, like the rest of the tables. When we demanded fresh rolls, she took our rolls back and put the oil on them and brought us back out of the same old rolls. Next we ordered our appetizers and food. My daughter ordered the chicken pesto pasta and it came in a bowl filled with oil (about one inch oil. I ordered a pizza and it came undercooked. My other daughter ordered a pasta dish and it came with mixed pasta noodles (penn, spaghetti, etc. . Also our waitress was not attentive or friendly. We let it slip because we were there before and knew Jake could be better. It could have been only one night for them, but the experience is burned in our memory. We went back a third time and everything was normal again. My daughter ordered the chicken pesto pasta again and it came out perfectly. This is a place with a bar in it and towards the end of the night the bar side can somehow rebel. If you take kids, I suggest going a bit earlier to avoid that. Other than that, it's a big hidden local jewel.

Had a spontaneous dinner here with my family and it was great! We had a couple of appetizers and a large pizza that we shared as well as some drinks. Hannah was so friendly, attentive and ready to give recommendations which we happily took. She made me such a refreshing coctail. It was such a great night out. Thank you Hannah!

Have been to Jake's twice since I moved to Yucaipa. Both times carryout and we were amazed. My favorite is the Spicy Italian Pizza and well worth the money. It's so loaded in toppings and cheese that I got 3 meals out of it. They're not joking when they say it's spicy. The portion sizes are huge. Wife got 3 meals out of her Penne Vodka and Bacon Mac as well. Side Salad was nearly a whole meal and the blue cheese was perfect! Inside the vibe seems very upbeat. Went there at 730 on a Monday and it was crowded so I can only imagine what it's like on a weekend!. Everyone looked to be having a great time. I'm told this is a locals favorite and I can see why. Add to that Yucaipa and Redlands has a good foodie scene with lots of options it's a testament to a well run business that the locals keep coming back.

During our first visit to this restaurant, we decided to stop for dinner while camping nearby. I ordered the John Wayne Burger, which was fantastic, and the fries were also really good. The cold beers were a nice touch as well. My husband tried the Korean wings; he found them to be quite spicy, but he enjoyed them nonetheless. Our waitress was very friendly and provided great recommendations. We will definitely be coming back!

I visited the restaurant for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic! I especially want to highlight Adrian, who was always warm and personable. We began our meal with the mozzarella sticks, which were delicious. Next, we enjoyed the buffalo wings and the antipasto, both of which were excellent. Leaving the restaurant, I felt satisfied and eagerly looking forward to my next pizza!
