Aki Sushi - Yucca Valley

I've been a regular here since they opened, and I've always found the staff to be friendly and the food fantastic. It's remarkable that this location has been successful when so many others have not made it (you know what I mean if you've been around). However, I’m giving them 4 stars because every single time I place an online order, it takes much longer than expected. They often say it will be ready in 25 minutes, but I'm usually waiting for 45 to 60 minutes instead. When I go in to pick up my food, it’s often not ready, and I find myself waiting and waiting. It usually takes me asking about my order for it to miraculously appear just a couple of minutes later. I understand they are busy since they are the only sushi place in town, but waiting that long for an online order isn’t ideal.

This is my favorite sushi spot in the area, and honestly, it's some of the best sushi I've ever had in Southern California!

The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was very clean, including the restrooms.

I didn't like Sushi until I ate here. Now I can't get enough. Big portions, great service and hudge menu. Never had one thing that wasn't an explosion of flavor!!! Dined in. Thank you.

Gem of a find in Joshua Tree. Excellent fresh sushi. The waiter says the sound was enough for two and he wasn't kidding! No shortage of Sashimi in the salad. The shasito peppers were some of the tastiest I've had.
