Martha's Gardens - Yuma

I've been waiting for a date shake for 40 years! My dad used to tease us as kids whenever we drove by without ever stopping. I'm so glad we finally did. It's a fantastic place to stop, with delicious shakes and a variety of other amazing treats. Make sure you check it out!

The restaurant seems a bit shabby and is serving only hot dogs for lunch today, despite having a full menu. However, the date shakes are excellent, and they offer a nice variety of date gift boxes.

If you're looking for a fresh date shake, head to Martha's Garden in Yuma, AZ. While I enjoyed the shake, I was slightly disappointed by the limited selection of date varieties available; they had a few options, but no sampler packs, which would have been a fun addition. Unfortunately, it was too late in the day for a tour, and too late in the season to see any fruit on the trees.

Nice little shop that offers a light lunch, shakes, ice cream and of course Dates. Beautiful outdoor area to sit. They also offer tours. I did expect the Date prices to be better since I was buying directly from the producer.

Went there for the date palm tour and learned they had food, date shakes , etc. The tour, by the owners son was excellent and well worth the $10.00.
