Proto Food&more - Zadar

We just stopped in for coffee or so we thought. Then we looked at the dessert menu and ordered 2 desserts. They were wonderful, creative and unique. I can't wait to go back for the savoury section of the menu. The server was very professional and knowledgeable too.#lillyscozycove

You can't leave Zadar without eating here! During our visit to Zadar we came across this restaurant. After a certain hesitation we decided to go anyway, this turned out to be the best choice throughout our stay! The value for money is excellent and the food is delicious, best in town. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and very polite. We can't stop talking about this restaurant. That's why we decided the next day to eat here again. In the second night there was an incident with the roof of the conservatory/Veranda. The staff could do nothing about it and the treatment of this incident was extremely professional. I would be nothing but praise and positive about this restaurant and as soon as I am in the area, I will definitely come back here for a delicious meal!

We ordered pasta mainly and it was delicious. The service was great, really attentive and helpful. We had a very pleasant lunch, all high quality ingredients and atmosphere

We had dinner at Proto and loved the food and service. We shared the karst plate which is a combination for of meat and cheeses from this region. This went really well with their house red wine. For mains we had surf and turf and beef steak in green pepper sauce. Both dishes were prepared well. We were too full for desserts. Highly recommend! It is pricey though. We spent around 600kn including 3 drinks. For us it was worth it for a special dinner on our last night in Zadar.

Very good place in Zadar to have dinner! Great beefsteak and Fish Trio (see pictures). Acceptable prices and a good wine menu. Cosy atmosphere, close to the park and to the city center. Would definitely recommend for a great evening in the city. Enjoy!
