Konokono Beach Resort - Zanzibar

I can honestly say this is one of the coolest places I've ever stayed in. The staff is friendly and clean. Be careful of the monkey. Nuts suspect that it's normal considering that you stay in the middle of a forest. TIP: If you rent a car, make sure that u arrive in the morning, as the road from the main road to the location is very bumpy and not easy (most of zanzibar is by the way)

Amazing venue... Isayara was perfect. Everyone was extremely friendly, the food was great, true Tanzanian hospitality..I'd highly recommend Isayara for anyone looking for an intimate and private time away.

Me and my husband visited this hotel on a weekend in April, 2021. We booked the hotel on Saturday of the weekend we were going to stay there. We got an amazing deal for a villa (with a plunge pool . It was an amazing experience. The resort cleanliness, the staff, the food, the beach, the free activities (kayaking, snooker pool, pedal boat, etc. , the room and the plunge pool was all worth every penny we spent on!! The food is highly recommended extremely fresh and delicious. We are vegetarian so the chef and the hotel manager was kind enough to tweak the dishes (from the fixed menu to our taste. As this was a last minute plan, we did not even have a charger to charge our phones...we were helped with that as well several times. Thank you so much Konokono. Just one complain we had was for the room service which was a bit slow. Rest, it was an unforgettable experience!

A superb end to a wonderful Safari! Staff are just delightful and food is amazing. Management is around all the time and keeping an eye on all details. The resort is immaculate and rooms very spacious. The beach dinner was a highlight and a great way to end a week long stay. Exceeded our expectations!

We had the honour of staying in both the 2 room sea view villa at the Konokono Beach Resort and the water villa at Isaraya Water Villas. We had such an amazing time, everything was perfect from the minute we entered the resort till the end. I was specially impressed with the top managements control over the resort and the friendly way he treated the staff and visitors. He was always willing to assist. The rest of the staff (reception, waiters, massage therapists, shefs ect) was equally effective and very polite. The villas were clean, spacious and safe. A unforgettable holiday and memories made. Thank you to all involved at Konokono Beach Resort and Isaraya Water Villas. I would highly recommend this resort.
