Very friendly service! I tried the salmon poke bowl, and it came in good time. Very filling and good portion size.

I have been staying in the area for work for the past 12days and found accommodation close to Salmon and Bear - as i was planning on going. I've eatten at the Newtown Salmon and Bear many times when previously working in Sydney (its fanastic) - anyway - i dined at the Zetland Salmon and Bear twice over the twelve day period. On the first visit i had the blue eye cod with oyster and sesame sauce and a serving of beer battered chips - fabulous, fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce is unreal with the fish.On my second visit my partner kate came along - we both had grizzly plates - barramundi, oyster and sesame and coconut rice for kate, barramundi, oyster and sesame sauce and beer battered chips for me.Fish was lovely - we both thought so, very yummy - the skin wasn't perfectly crispy but it wasn't the end of the world - the sides were enjoyable.The staff are friendly and the service was great and quick.I really enjoyed my visits to this restaurant - wonderfully fresh seafood that is flavoursome and sensational - and it won't break the bank.As good as Newtown Salmon and Bear, it would be hard to say which of the two restaurants was better.Thanks for the awesome dinners.

We went hunting a restaurant near to where we staying and stumbled across Salmon and Bear. The food was amazing. We had barramundi and salmon with 2 sauces, Asian greens and some amazing Brussel sprout. A great place and the advice about the food was spot on.
