Genova’s is a lovely restaurant and food store on Idaplatz selling Italian delicacies from the region of Molise, on the Adriatic coast. All their ingredients come from their farm in Molise and from small-scale producers in the region. We had mixed antipasti, including to-die-for burrata and roman pinsas (best pizza you’ll ever have). The artichoke pasta was delicious and the parmigiana divine. We topped it all off with some epic tiramisu. And the highlight of it all for me was their Tintilia wine, which they also sell in their store. They told me they also do private events. I will defo be back!
We come from the provinces and we liked it at Genovas. Food and service were good, as was the P-L ratio.
Fresh, fine food and very friendly staff! Signor Giorgio in particular is competent and very personable! Keep it up! See you soon, kind regards, Luca
Am very disappointed. Because: It says on the website and on Google: open until 11 p.m. I was there at 9:20 p.m. So far, far, far ahead of this information. And was no longer served (take away, not even a table, etc. and finally turned away. I wasn't even that mad at first. because I thought they would close at 10 p.m. or at half past ten... I understand if you end things flexibly. BUT: if 11 p.m. is specified online, then that is no longer flexible. At best, this is sloppiness or stupidity (not changing that on the website or at worst, unfortunately... let's leave it alone. There are two stars (instead of just one because the shed looks good. Or if you are lucky enough not to be treated badly, then maybe have a good evening,... or a good pinsa (from hearsay
