Typical Greene King. Large pub/hotel, enclosed patio garden to the rear. Usual range of ales and menu offering reasonable priced food.

More of a locals pub at the top end of town but found it very welcoming. Only stopped for a quick drink but found it comfotable and pleasant. Nice pub, may try the food another time.

Visited during the Car Festival. Just a basic bar in a large building serving in plastic cups. Cheaper than expected.

Very average Wetherspoon at best. Several rooms, ale choice and service was ok. It was busy but did not feel comfortable.

Lovely old pub with low beamed ceilings. Good laugh with very cheerful staff and an extensive food menu.

Visited early evening when quiet. It looks like a usual bar but with fancy lighting to make it a nightclub later. It looked tired. The barman was self occupied. Little choice of ale and slightly overpläs mer...

Used to be our favourite Newbury pub pre-covid but little ale choice nowadays but the Guinness is well kept. Bring back the real ales please.

Very large bar with comfortable seating and competitively priced drinks. Sports TV's. Unfortunately the loos stank.
