The Alibi - Alexandria

We had a fantastic experience at this charming little pub in DC. We enjoyed some drinks and a delicious British meal before saying goodbye. The house tequila was amazing and really stood out. We were greeted with a warm and fuzzy feeling that continued throughout our visit. The bar service was excellent, with friendly and skilled bartenders. Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy some good food and drinks.

The Alibi is one of the top British pubs in DC! They offer a mix of British and American dishes close to the train station. The staff is welcoming every visit. I particularly enjoy their British dishes. The Irish coffee with homemade cream and fresh coffee is authentic. Their fish and chips are delicious. The happy hour deals are great and their banoffee pie is a must-try for dessert. The ambiance inside is cozy, and on nice days, there are outdoor tables available.

We didn't dine inside, but the outdoor seating was pleasant. The restaurant is conveniently located near the Capitol, yet also tucked away beautifully.

Vegan fish and chips? don't say more and bring me a teller! I brought my own splintery brown sauce so I can remember the school in Scotland. the terrace was comfortable and not too crowded. the drinks were a bit steep (e.g. $10 for a dose of the zider), but a part of it is just D.C overall, we enjoyed and will be back. Do not forget to order a piece of banoffepis and a cup coffee to finish their meal.

Awesome food with an authentic environment. We found this place after searching for the best Scotch Eggs, but everything else was great as well.
