Ash Grove Inn - Barry's Bay

Just for dinner in the restaurant. The food was okay, but not very hot when it arrived. We sat outside so I'm not sure how far it was from the kitchen. Great view of the lake. Service was great. Service: 5 Location: 5.

Had breakfast at the restaurant and it was OK, the server we had was pleasant and quick, food was OK. The problem with this motel was with my suite; the room was filthy. I had to bring back my original batch of towels as they were visibly dirty, one actually had three different colours of dirt on it. The couch was stained, so I put one of new new (clean? towels on it to sit down. There were four extra pillows in the closet, three of which were almost comically dirty and unusable. The TV fires up properly, but the Shaw TV box was not activated, so no TV. There were hairs in the bathroom and the hair dryer had a half an inch of dust on it. Additionally, my suite's bathroom had a very small shower with a very well used bath mat in that looked like it has seen better days. The only redeeming quality of this motel is the view of the lake.
