Sands - Basingstoke and Deane

Our starters, main courses, and desserts were all superbly prepared and presented. After our meal, we were surprised with a bottle of Champagne and two glasses, accompanied by white roses to continue our celebration. It was a truly delightful experience from start to finish. I want to give a special shoutout to our waitress, HANNAH, who was exceptional, as well as to Alex, the restaurant manager, who orchestrated the surprises. Thank you to the entire staff at Sands and to the chef for making our evening so memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion or for a lovely evening out in a beautiful setting.

Many lunches here and dinner since restrictions not been able to dine It was good to be able to be back and dine however the food was served on cold plates the food Luke warm in fact the chicken was pink (was it even cooked)...The service was not to be impressed with although they did try to make up for the cold food with coffee !! We won’t be back dinning here unless we hear things improve

Food was very good , drinks good , staff friendly , and its all very clean . Plenty of windows to view the course . I loved it . Wife is in wheelchair . Parking was close , there is a good lift which takes...you to bar , restaurant . Its all preetty flat . Spacious areas , with a open area where you can sit and drink , have a meal , or watch the golf . Staff were very happy to help with the wheelchair . This is very close to a .

This was our first visit to Bishopswood and won’t be our last... We were a group of booked for Sunday lunch and we very much enjoyed our visit. Becky was lovely to deal with when I made the reservation, and she also served us...alongside a young man who I think was new. We really were made to feel very welcome, which was nice. The food was very good and plentiful and everyone enjoyed their lunch. Service was perfect and at the right speed, and the atmosphere was pleasant with no loud music and a warm welcome from the local members. Prices were very reasonable both for drinks the food. Can’t wait for summer to come so we can sit out on the terrace! We will be back!

I wanted to arrange a lunch for around people to celebrate our Golden wedding anniversary., We looked for local restaurants and saw an advert for the Sands Restaurant at the Bishopswood Golf Club in Tadley. We made contact and met the Manageress Jennie. Jennie...was most helpful and gave us the choice of three menus to look at pointing out that these were just choices that others had made and were open to change and showed us a wide range of options. We went away decided on the menue, and the number of guests. We returned to see Jennie with our choice of menu and agreed the table layout, Later we provided Jennie with the Guests names and their choices from the Menu and our seating plan. When we arrived on the day the waiters knew the seating position for each guest and their choice of menu. The service was very slick, the waiters being very pleasant and helpful without hovering. The food was excellent well cooked, and presented with very generous portions. The service we received and the quality of the food made our Golden Wedding Anniversary.
