Great casual setting with great food and exceptional servers. They also have outside seating, a great long bar and all types of food.

Although the restaurant was a little loud (people having a good time), we had burgers. My husband had a regular burger and I had a Scottish burger. The burgers were excellent. They have a vast beer menu as well.

Staff are super friendly and attentive. Food was dee-lish with gluten free bun option for burgers. Excellent selection of international beers.

When in Bayfield we normally stop at a different place for lunch, but they were done serving lunch at 1:30 on the day we visited! Go figure. So we decided to eat at The Black Dog Village Pub after perusing the menu posted outside. The hostess found a nice seat for us on the patio. My husband order the Meatloaf Sandwich, I ordered the Cubano Panino, our friends ordered a flat iron steak salad and a Black dog Original burger. It took a bit to get our meals, but after they arrived we could see they had been prepared as we ordered. Our meals spent NO time under a heat lamp. We were all quite satisfied with our meal. The service was quite good and the portions sufficient. Though we passed on dessert, we made our way down to Rosie's Ice Cream Shoppe for a cone!
