Docks Boathouse - Biddeford

As a self-proclaimed roasted Clam identifier, I was very happy when I fried the box with small, slightly broken, perfect (not over done or greasy, small shells. Delicious! To round it off, it was a warm day in January(! I ate outside on the picnic table that softens the sun while I tender my maine, whole belly mussels! Good price too. I'm back!

Traveling on business, in a pinch for time, stopped in for takeout and could be happier. Lobsters, the stew, bisque, and roll were all very excellent.

This is a little shack with amazing food. The name Docks Boathouse sounds fancy; it is not. While there are tables inside and out, this isn't what I'd call a dining experience restaurant. However, it's one of the best places to go for a seafood dinner. We ordered takeout for a large group that included lobsters, lobster rolls, fried seafood, onion rings, sweet potatoe fries, french fries and coleslaw. The prices were beyond reasonable for seafood and the portions were huge; except for the coleslaw which came in tiny containers. I loved that the lobster roll had the mayo on the side. All of the seafood was fantastic, as were the onion rings. Both types of fries were very good and the coleslaw was colorful, but a little bland. On the whole, it was an amazing meal for everyone. I definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area. It did close at 8pm though, so check the time. Go hungry and leave the fancy clothes at home.

We usually fo to oxford to the lost gull. We love it there. But we now have found docks and it is awesome very good food. Very nice people and very clean. Quite impressed
