'girl with the stinking attitude ' has been mentioned here quite a few times. was she by any chance working tonight .didnt appreciate the way she shouted over the counter at me with my daughter and asked 1 to leave after having been their for about 10 minutes.Really need to learn how to speak to customers. other members of staff including who I assume is the owner said nothing no face masks worn either !!

On entry wr had made a mistake of my boyfriend and myself entering the premises due to Covid there had been a sign to say only 1 person per group as only 4 can be in store.. Made an honest mistake but the guy at the till made me feel I had done something wrong as was not particularly friendly or polite about it.. It doesn't hurt to be friendly even if customers make a mistake... Purchases 2 fish suppers... Again guy on till wasn't very friendly no mention of a thank you or have a nice day.. Customer service could be improved...food was good... Chips were great and food really hot.. Fishbwas a bit thin but did get 2 pieces.. Would prefer 1 piece of fish and a bit thicker or bigger as alot of it was the tail end... Would go back if in Biggar again and enquire about the special fish supper.

We went in last week for two fish suppers, which we always do when on that road heading home South, and always look forward to them. Has this place recently changed hands? The young man on the till had little or no manners, the chips tasted like they were reheated, and the portion size was minute compared to normal ... very disappointed and we've been going for over a decade ! Shame really.

Disgusting service by female this afternoon at approx 3.30pm. After purchasing and enjoying the food my 70 yo father went inside to use the toilet. There were no other customers so social distancing was not an issue. He was then humiliated by your member of staff who told him toilets were for regulars only!!!! An absolute disgrace she is, shameful behaviour. Never will my parents return to this establishment and I would absolutely not recommend this place in a positive manner.
