Publix - Boca Raton

I've been here a few times while running errands at Whole Foods. They offer Impossible Meat, which is great because Whole Foods only has Beyond Meat. They also carry products from Tofutti, Kite Hill, Earth Balance, Oatly, and more. They have a good variety of vegan options. However, I was disappointed with the green salad I purchased because it had a lot of live bugs in the container.

The concept is promising, but the recently renovated regular shops offer a wider selection and superior customer service, with a dedicated green option in every course. While they used to have a weekly pizza special, it seems that's been discontinued. Unfortunately, the customer service here is lacking, which is surprising given that the parent company sets such a high standard.

Publix offers a wide selection of interesting frozen and prepared vegetarian foods that you won't find at Whole Foods. The prices are generally comparable to those at Whole Foods, although sometimes you can find better deals at one store or the other. I haven't tried their ready-made meals or deli options, so I can't comment on how vegetarian or vegan those are.

Very nice selection of organic but also convenient for all conventional groceries paper goods, cleaning stuff, etc. Nice one stop shopping. Wish they would stock Oasis Non fat Hummus. I'll suggest that next time I'm there.

I went there hoping to get something to eat that was vegan in the prepared foods area. The best I could find is a veggie wrap without dressing (it contained goat 's milk). I noticed the person behind the counter preparing a roast beef sandwich before they made my wrap. They used the same knife to cut my wrap and they never changed their gloves. I told them I wouldn 't eat it and left. It irks me that Publix is flaunting the green image without offering anything remotely vegan at least. There really is no difference between Greenwise Publix and regular Publix. They 're just trying to cash in on the Whole Foods crowd.
