Salvador Dobbs - Boerne

THIS BAR EARNS MY ULTRA-RARE AND COVETED 5th STAR! Salvador DOBBS is an upscale twist on your neighborhood bar. You'll see familiar faces, enjoy excellent cocktails, and jam out to some awesome live music. The staff is generally very friendly and gets to know you and remember you. The owner is very community-focused and goes above and beyond to give back to the community, earning this place a rare 5th star from me. Plus, they've got a ton of quirky social media posts good for a quick laugh!

I came here for Barbie themed karaoke night. It was a blast and lots of people were dressed up. The female bartender working made really good drinks and she was really nice! My favorite drink of the night was the blue peacock which is one of their signature cocktails. It tasted like blueberries!

Terrible service. They don't tell you on their website ANYWHERE they don't let people under 21 in, even if you aren't ordering a drink. My sister was with our FAMILY and they didn't let her in. Absolutely ridiculous, especially for a casual sit down place

Great spot in Boerne. Live music really ruins the ambiance. Boerne could do well with more spots like Dobbs.

We went looking for a new place to try in Boerne and SD just looked like a cool spot to roll to. We walked in and found a couple of seats at the end of the bar and the bartender Bryan greeted us with a menu and asked if we knew what we wanted already or needed a minute. My husband go a double of Eagle Rare and I ordered the Chacmul. We watched him take the time to meticulously create the drink and it made us even more excited to try it. Smoked bourbon in the bottle, then smoked again upon serving it and he pulls the napkin away and you watch the smoke fade out of the glass. Definitely a great spin on the Old Fashion. And well I had 2 of them lol
