Prosecco Pizzeria - Bridgewater

I dined there last summer with my brother, who lives nearby, and it was delicious!

Please note that this restaurant changed hands on November 1, 2017, and is now called Flying Pizza, although it is under different ownership than the previous Flying Pizza that occupied this location. The prices are somewhat high now; the kids' menu is particularly pricey at $6.95 each, but the portions are quite large. I found the tortellini carbonara to be just okay (I prefer Francesco's). However, the meatball sub was excellent. I was disappointed that we ordered the kids' meals in advance, yet all the kids' food, our salad, garlic knots, and entrees arrived at the same time.

There was only one waitress on duty, and it was clear she was overwhelmed. The food was quite disappointing. If it weren't for Grammy's ice cream, my dining experience would have been a major letdown, especially after all the rave reviews I had read about this place.

We didn’t just eat here; we dined in! The outdoor seating was perfect for our spring lunch, providing a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of the TV show "Cheers," where it felt like everyone knew each other. The staff and fellow diners were genuinely warm and welcoming, with smiles all around. What more can I say? We ended up getting takeout because they serve generous portions! So go and enjoy yourself as much as we did. It's a fantastic spot for vegetarians and gluten-free diners in a happy environment!

During our last visit, we unfortunately had a less than stellar experience with our waitress. She forgot my soda, didn’t bring the ketchup I requested, and we had a long wait for boxes even though she was sitting just 10 feet away at the bar. My husband had to call out to her to get her attention because she was too busy chatting with friends and staff, and there were hardly any other diners in the place. I can honestly say that out of the 15 times we've come here, this was the first instance of poor service. I’m hoping it was just a one-time issue! I still highly recommend this restaurant, but that’s why I’m not giving it a full five stars.
