Why four rather than five stars for ambience? All dining tables have been over varnished resulting in a surface that is sticky to hands and table ware.

Whoever cooked my steak Sunday night is an absolute master of the grill. Steak is never cooked just right when dining out, but it was Sunday night at 1331. It was perfectly seared and cooked to perfection. The creamed artichoke was interesting, I'm glad I got to try it, but I'm not sure I would order it again.

The service was sssslowwwwwww took millions years to get the food.. we even had to ask to a different server to help us because the first one disappeared.

Service was excellent.... Option for buffet or à la carte... I ordered from the buffet both mornings, and loved it... server was very attentive... overall value for food quality was good.... Would definitely go there again.

The woman at the reception of Avenue Grill does not honor reservations. She told us that if there is a long queue, she will allow people with reservations to get a table . Isn 't the whole point of making a reservation that you don 't need to rely on someone allowing you to get a table? This happened in two days. On the 2nd, I actually needed to have breakfast with a colleague at 8 am sharp but this person refused to honor my reservation and we ended up waiting in line. She claimed sge was under pressure . Since her behavior was the same every day, it seems more a problem with her than the situation. Pathetic. The serving staff are good, which is why I did not give this place a one star for service. I would not recommend the Avenue Grill unless you have no other claims on your time.
