Remington's - Cascade

This is the best restaurant in Cascade! The chef is incredible, and the menu is even better—there's something for everyone. Unfortunately, the building has been sold, and the owners are moving on. It's really sad to see them go. I hope they reopen in Cascade soon!

Finding a good brunch can be quite a challenge, and a brunch buffet after Covid feels almost impossible to come by. But here it is! The buffet was fully stocked, and the prices were remarkably reasonable. I hesitate to share this gem because I’d love to keep it a secret for myself. The food and service were exceptional. While we usually go to the Easter brunch at Shorelodge, this place might become our new favorite year after year. Additionally, I had an expired gift certificate, and they graciously accepted it without any issues.

What a delightful surprise! I only wish I lived closer so that I could make this restaurant a regular part of my dining routine! For my starter, I chose the Thai Coconut Curry Mussels, and oh my goodness, the sauce was so delicious that it could easily be enjoyed as a soup. They provided plenty of freshly grilled bread to soak up the sauce, which was a lovely touch. For my main course, I had the Beef and Blue Pappardelle. Everything was homemade, including the pasta, which was incredibly fresh and tender. It was topped with sautéed chunks of tender beef tenderloin, mushrooms, grilled caramelized onions, bacon jam, roasted red peppers, and zucchini, all tossed in a creamy blue cheese sauce. Pure heavenly goodness! My husband opted for the grilled salmon and raved about how fantastic it was. He also had mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts on the side. The service was wonderful and extremely friendly. Once again, I truly wish I lived closer!

We had a fantastic experience! The meal was delicious, and the dessert was equally delightful. Our server, Sadie, was wonderful, and we enjoyed chatting with the hostess as well.

Thank you, Remington's! Our dinner tonight was fantastic! We had prime rib, shrimp, asparagus, and potatoes, and we can't wait to enjoy our desserts later. We picked it up and it was steaming hot! Merry Christmas!
