Subway - Cascade

Be ready for a long wait. I waited 30 minutes for my sandwiches. They start making your order along with others, but then leave them to sit without letting you choose your toppings. I stood there watching them finish the last two orders behind me. By the time I got to pay, my toasted sandwiches had gone cold. It seems like no one is properly trained to work there; as a former Subway employee, I can say that the service at the DMV is faster than this!

My husband and I stopped by to grab a couple of sandwiches, and we had a great experience. The young man who took our order was friendly and cheerful. The second young man, who was adding the veggies, seemed a bit nervous, likely still in training. I requested oil for my sandwich, but he accidentally put vinegar on it instead. However, the first young man quickly reassured me, saying, "It's okay; we'll make a new one," and they did just that without delay. I really appreciated the positive and kind atmosphere. The amount of veggies he added was perfect, which is often not the case at other places where I usually have to ask for more. Thanks to both of you (the guy with the 208 hat and Marco)!

It's subway. What can I say? It's not terrible, not great. They were out of several breads, and there were 3 people working, and only one of them was attending to customers, while the other 2 were doing, I dunno. This poor guy was making the sandwiches, wrapping them, bagging them, and ringing everyone up. There were 5 people ahead of us, 3 of us, and then another round of people came in right behind us.
