Chen's Chinese - Cayce

I always have a wonderful time here! I love how much delicious food you get for such a great price. The juicy lo mein is one of my favorites. Plus, I always have leftovers, which makes me happy. Even those two college boys who devoured everything still had leftovers from their combos!

I don't often enjoy Chinese restaurants these days due to subpar food and ingredients, but Chen's is simply outstanding. I visit once a week, and the woman who welcomes you is always so lovely and quick to take your order and serve your food.

The service was good, although the waiter struggled with communication. To my surprise, the food was really delicious. Given the modest appearance of the restaurant, I expected the service to be lacking and the food to be subpar. However, our dishes arrived hot and at just the right time. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the sauce for my fish was well-balanced—not too overpowering, with a delightful mix of sweetness and spices.

Super, super nice lady. The plant looks a little old, but it's clean. I had the sesame chicken and ham fried rice with an egg roll. The sesame chicken was decent (I don't think it's a specialty of them and maybe I had hoped more though the price is good) and the rice was ok, but nothing to rave along with the egg roll. I gave 4 stars because I felt like a long-term friend, although that was my first time. Customer service is very important to me and this place has packed it. I will try again some of their other options.

Amy is wonderful, she recognizes my order every time we come in. She’s very helpful, always has a smile and makes sure we have everything needed. We have been eating here for the last 5 years and it has been something we enjoy weekly. The sweet and sour shrimp are the best!
