Syke Farm Tea Room - Cockermouth

Oh my, if you love cake, then this restaurant is a must-visit! The cakes are homemade with a great selection of flavors, accompanied by five different toppings and decorated beautifully. I tried the steak and Stilton cake, and it was out of this world! It was so delicious that we ended up buying another one to take home. This place has always been great, but now it's even better with their amazing cakes!

Imagine a place where they are warm in all asspects after they suck on their walk (and they become). friendly service, amazing cake, great looking cake (I went for cake,) tee and of course a nice event to keep them dry.

After driving 20 miles from the Emmendale Bridge on this unexpectedly sunny day, we stumbled upon this wonderful tea room. We decided to sit outside and ordered a delicious vegan sub and a honeycomb vegan latte, both of which were fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and made sure we had a great experience. Overall, a superb find.

Great place to chill, filled my face hole with some cake. Passed the all important tea pot test (Two and a half cups out of one pot)

Loved this place, great stop off before or after the Buttermere lake walk, service was great and there were a lot of people passing through. 2 of us had latte and a gluten free cherry and almond slice from a wide selection of cakes. They also served meals, sandwiches and ice creams. Seating upstairs, downstairs and outside.
