Pepper Tree

The Pepper Steak is killer. The best steak we (my wife and I both had the Pepper Steak) have ever eaten. The service was top notch. Highly recommend this fine dining restaurant. Plan to try Steak Diane next time.

We used to bring my mother here quite often, when she could get out, and hadn't been back for several years. This was an Anniversary for my niece, visiting from OH, so we asked for a table to see the view. Sadly, they arrived before we did and were sat by the door, facing the doorway. We raved about the pepper steak, so everyone had it, and both my wife and I felt it wasn't nearly as flavorful as it used to be. The service was stellar, as usual, but I have to say, we left disappointed...and for a meal over $630 (before tip) for four people with a moderately priced (for Pepper Tree) wine of $140...the value just wasn't there for us anymore.

The chutney they use on their pepper steak seemed a bit different than it used to be. In the past, it was chopped finer. I prefer that to the way it was yesterday. Otherwise, food was delicious as always.

Very nice experience!! Parking: I really liked the thought that we didn't have to feed a parking meter while eating this fabulous dinner.

What an absolutely awesome dinner! The Steak Diane and Pepper Steak are delicious!!
