Bidra med feedbackOk, so you might be thrown off by the fact that this soul food place has Asian workers and cooks... BUT the food tasted exactly how soul food is supposed to taste! Honestly the best soul food I've had in years (I live in L.A. I got the catfish platter with Mac and cheese, cabbage, and cornbread. Everything had great flavor and they give good portions! They made sure to include hot sauce packets and it came in a nice cloth bag. My total came to $15 which is a really great price , because soul food platters usually cost like $20-$25. Overall I definitely recommend this place!(These are my honest opinions , I was not paid to write this review
Fried fish is fried to perfection. Candied yams are not bad either.
My son and I were in the mood for soul food and gave it a try. It was delicious and a great price! Fried chicken was crunchy and moist. The Mac and cheese was tasty and so were the greens. Will definitely order again.
I was really impressed by the food! I came between meals and and they clearly made my chicken fresh. it was hot, crispy, and moist, and everything was well seasoned. the lunch special had generous portions of Mac and cheese and collard greens. They have room for some tables and chairs inside but they seem to have taken them out
The food isn’t good honestly. The Mac is dry the ribs taste boiled and not bbq. The collard greens was a lil salty. Over priced and not worth it.
