Cowboy Cafe - Davenport

Fantastic and prompt service! The staff were warm and welcoming (thank you, Pat!). The ambiance is delightful, featuring a cozy, Western, homey feel. The 'home-cooked' meals are incredibly tasty! The prices are reasonable as well! We’re really thankful to have discovered such a wonderful dining spot along this long stretch of road!

Charming little place with delicious food! After seeing great reviews, we decided to give the Cowboy Café a try, and it certainly met our expectations. Just a heads-up, the service is more laid-back than you might find in the city, but we thought it was outstanding. The café wasn't very busy when we went, and while the food wasn't overly fancy, it was truly tasty and served in generous portions in pie dishes, which was a nice twist. Plus, the newspaper clippings on the table covers offered some interesting reading to keep us entertained.

Fantastic food and charming decor! Last week, my husband and I stopped by the Cowboy Cafe for breakfast on our way to go camping. We couldn't resist finishing every bite of our hearty breakfast, even though we probably should have saved some—it was just too delicious! We both had the classic breakfast, which included bacon, eggs, hash browns, and some amazing homemade bread. Everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. We also thought the pie tin plates were a delightful touch! I would absolutely make the trip again just for the breakfast. The service was excellent, too.

This restaurant is truly authentic. I saw a big table of wheat farmers enjoying breakfast together, which added to the atmosphere. There were three different groups coming and going, indicating it's a popular meeting place. The food is fantastic, and the walls are decorated with fascinating art. Definitely don't overlook this spot!
