El Tinajon Cuban - Dodge City

Dodge City is currently praised by locals for its fantastic Mexican cuisine, but El Tianjon offers a delicious alternative with its Cuban menu. Despite being a small restaurant, the friendly local owner goes out of his way to make every visitor feel welcome. The service is outstanding. I highly recommend the Appetizer Mix Plate for those wanting to sample plantains, double-fried potatoes, and pork skewers. My wife ordered a ground beef dish, and after tasting it, I can say it was excellent—a fascinating blend of spices. You also can't go wrong with the traditional pork sandwiches. While the dinner menu is slightly more expensive than other restaurants in Dodge City, it is certainly worth a visit.
