Pilot Travel Center - Effingham

Three people two females and one male standing in the middle of the store not helping anyone. They didn?t greet anyone, had the restrooms closed, and had nothing on the hot bar.

Huge truck parking area. Clean inside and out. The showers were great and the cleanest I've seen in a month as far as truck stops go. They have a PJ Fresh inside as well.

Well I stayed at the Flying J last night. Got up this morning to take a shower and get some breakfast. We'll the Dennys is close down. I went ahead and got me a refill of coffee in my cup. Now thus where I was so disturb I was walking to the wallwhere you have sterring wheels covers I trying to find a good one. Now the clerk yelled out Ma'am would need to pay for yourcoffee? I was stop by another employee that was blocking from going to back area there's no exit door. Now, I was shock by heryelling at me with customers in the store. I walk to the counter and said you was unprofessional and I ask for the Manager shewas beside her. I ask for the corp. number and her name the other clerks name she did not write her name on the paper. Now Idid call corp made a complaint. Hopefully I received a called back. Now, she was stero taping me as I don't know what but Iwas very shock. This was over $2.34 for a refill. What is customer service coming too. Oh, I did have to get fuel they wherenot up front any longer.

1 of the best showers I've had out on the road. I didn't catch his name but the cashier working this morning at 5:30am was delightful, kind, and professional. James, the shower porter was just as amazing. Clean shower, waiting w extra towels for me.Thank you for a great shower and Kudos gentlemen!

Very clean store with professional and friendly staff, with a Dennis restaurant attached to store that has good food with quick friendly service. The truck parking lot is laid out pretty good and relatively easy to get into spots. Showers are very cleanwith lots of hot water. I haven?t seen a truck shop at this flying j but there?s one across the street.
