Russell's Cafe Bakery - Fenton

The staff at this restaurant was very friendly and the interior was pleasant. The desserts were visually appealing. However, I would not recommend going there for breakfast. The scrambled eggs are not made with real eggs; instead, they come from a carton and are microwaved, resulting in a tough and rubbery texture. The French toast is also not recommended, as it is prepared on a panini machine, making it dry and burnt.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times and have always had a great experience! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The sandwiches and pasta salad are delicious. I highly recommend trying the Harvest Grill - the combination of cheese and apple butter might sound strange, but it is amazing! I always end up ordering it because it is just too good. The gooey butter cake is also a must-try - although it is a bit pricey, I had no regrets after trying it.

My wife adores this restaurant. The baked goods are excellent, especially the gooey butter cake. I haven't tried much from the menu because I always order the southwest wrap - it's delicious. The seating area has recently been expanded, but the place still maintains its cozy cafe vibe.

A cold sandwich, tiny bag of chips and soda cost over $15.00!!! It was a good sandwich but VERY overpriced. The bag of chips was so small!. The environment would be nice if it was cleaner. The walls, floor and bathroom were filthy. This could be a reallycute place to dine if they cleaned it up and adjusted their prices. I?m adding photos of under the booth and on the wall that Idined at. Makes me wonder how clean the kitchen area is, yikes! Service was friendly but based on prices and filth I will not beback.

Oh my goodness, I bought an Original Gooey Butter Cake and a Chocolate Chip Gooey Butter Cake today for a family dinner with family from out of town. They both were by far the best Gooey Butter Cake I had ever had! So moist and gooey. Delicious. Thiswill be my go to dessert with out of town family and friends from now on. Wish I had taken a picture before we ate it all,except the piece I saved for breakfast tomorrow.
