Bidra med feedbackWonderful ice cream place on the east side of Flint close to Starlite diner. Lots of picnic tables outside and open till 10:00 p.m. all summer long! I have posted a picture of their menu with all of their many options!
Heaven came down and landed in my cup. I threw together my own mix of ingredients and the wonderful girls working there made it even though I came in right before they closed.(not on purpose) but it was raining and my boyfriend and I stood in the rain and devoured it as if we hadn't eaten in 3 weeks. It was insane good. We still talk about that place.
The restaurant earns 2 stars primarily because we didn't have to wait long. However, I was quite disappointed with our experience. We chose this place because it was a local establishment and not a franchise. I ordered a mint shake, but it seemed like they forgot to add the mint. We also tried a raspberry shake, which lacked flavor as well. Additionally, I wish the staff understood that wearing a mask properly is essential for keeping themselves and others safe; I noticed all the employees I saw had their masks positioned under their noses.
Indulge in a wide selection of delicious ice cream at incredibly low prices! They offer both soft serve and hand-dipped options. Any sensible person would stick to a Junior or Small size; anything larger, and you might find your stomach regretting the decision. With at least 30 hand-dipped flavors to choose from, including classic Midwestern favorites like Blue Moon and Superman, as well as Mackinac Island Fudge and traditional flavors such as chocolate, vanilla, and butter pecan, there's something for everyone. I chose the double chocolate almond chip, which features almonds covered in chocolate tossed into rich chocolate ice cream served in a waffle cone. My daughter had chocolate soft serve with sprinkles, while my son savored his Superman flavor. Meanwhile, the baby watched longingly as he enjoyed his refreshing bottle. They also offer a variety of soft serve flavors (banana, strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, twist, etc.) as well as sundaes. This spot is a real gem, though it’s quite popular, so be prepared to wait in line!
Is there a way to give zero stars? My mom and I wanted to stop for ice cream while we were out celebrating my birthday. We arrived ten minutes before closing, and the place wasn’t busy—just two other customers. However, as soon as we walked in, we were told they were closing. When I tried to explain that it was just the two of us and we only wanted ice cream cones, a girl behind the counter threw a tantrum. So we left. The ice cream may be good, but the staff really needs to learn some manners.
