Shakey's - Fukuoka

Decent pizza buffet restaurant. The quality is just alright, but there is always a large variety of pizza types. Even if you go back for more 3 or 4 times, you may see new flavors every time. Their fried potatos and pasta choices are pretty decent as well. Overall, preferable to getting delivery pizza since the entry price for 2 people is about the cost of 1 large pizza from the delivery chains.

Considering that this was a buffet restaurant, I did not have very high expectations. I personally think that buffets sacrifice quality for quantity. Though this time I was surprised how good the pizza was. For 1120 yen you can get all you can eat pizza, pasta, salad and a few sides. There were many kinds of pizzas to choose from including pepperoni pizza (it's a rare thing to see in this country). All of which were pretty good. The salad bar had a decent selection of toppings. I wouldn't go in expecting gourmet food from a buffet restaurant but it I think it's worth the money. I'd be happy to come back again sometime.

Fried potatoes were oily and no flavor. Pizza was good.

Pretty poor pizza... Pizzas are made very slowly so there is often little available. Staff are rather unfriendly.

Great buffet, totally worth the price Cuz you get to try their many flavors of pizza plus pasta, salad and drinks. They also have dessert pizzas that were surprisingly good. I enjoyed it more than buying a whole pizza to eat from myself. I wish they had this lunch buffet in their other branches.
