Cinco De Mayo Mexican Restaurant And Bar

My SO ordered via the Grubhub app which said the order would be ready at 5:34. When we got there, the staff were clueless at first and it wasn't until 6:45 that our order came from the kitchen. We live only 2 blocks away and when we got home and sat down to eat, we noticed the food, 2 fried chimichangas and beans was not hot or warm at all. We ordered fried chimichangas which ours were definitely not. Also the chips tasted of fry oil past its prime.Basically, it seems they whipped up our order when we arrived and inquired as to its whereabouts. The place was NOT busy, only 2 tables inside and 1 or 2 outside were occupied.Sin and Grin (reviews average 4.5) in Kentlands and the Burrito Ranchero (reviews average 4.8) food trucks near Quince Orchard High School are much better options for Mexican food.

I took my dad and my family here for Father’s Day and it was an amazing experience. Excellent customer service and our waitress was Danelly, she was exceptional! Love this place!

We had dinner at this restaurant and the food was really great. The service could have been a little better as we had to ask other servers for sauces and napkins as no one was around us, so we had to try and catch someone to get these requests. However, the food was great. I ordered tacos and other items. The fried ice cream was very nice. The ambiance is good as well. The service is slow but overall a good place to dine in.

I do not plan to return to this restaurant due to their subpar customer service and exorbitant prices for mediocre food. The portions are decent but the flavor is poor and the meat is dry. I tried the Birria Tacos which lacked the authentic taste I was expecting and were also greasy and dry. The Taco Bowl with Chicken was poorly cooked and lacked any real passion or flavor, resulting in dry meat. I do not recommend this restaurant as it seems they are taking advantage of the local area to overprice simple Mexican dishes.

We had a great experience. Food was awesome and the service was speedy and on point. Our server, Danelly, was very attentive to our table, made suggestions since it was our first time and bought the food as soon as she could. We definitely will be coming back.
