The Melting Pot - Gaithersburg

We had such a nice time for dinner (Thursdate 4 courses) here! Big thanks to Maysarah, our waitress, for helping us have a great experience! It was our first time dining here, so she went through all details and what to expect from the meal, she was really attentive, taking our allergies and covid 19 safety measurements seriously ???? So for Thursdate, we'd have 4 courses: ? Appetizer: we chose Fiesta cheese fondue and it was incredibly delish definitely come back to try more cheese options! (1 cheese fondue shared) ? Salad: their Signature melting pot salad was so fresh and tasty as well! (We each had 1 big plate of salad) ? Entre: we chose Cog Au Vin (burgendy wine broth) and had Big Night Out option for Thursdate (you can go Bigger Night Out but I think it's too much for 2 people, so grateful that Maysarah our waitress, was honest and told us it might be too much if we went with Bigger option) and it was so much food for Entre we had to take some break before Dessert???? The entre meats were very well chosen and seasoned ? Dessert: we went with Yin&Yang Chocolate definitely worth it! And I must say their Yin&Yang Martini is a must try! The bartender tonight made a tasty drink AND the presentation is so on point???? We had such a lovely time here and will definitely come back for more trying! The staffs today deserve so much raises and shout outs for their work!

You all have to visit this place! It's absolutely fantastic! My husband went a few years back and suggested we try it for dinner. I wholeheartedly agree! The food was incredible! I hadn't had fondue in years, and this was the ideal spot to enjoy it again. We ordered the four cheese fondue (I don't quite recall the name, but it consists of four Italian cheeses, garlic, and white wine—it's pure bliss!). We also indulged in the dessert chocolate fondue, which was just as delightful! Just a heads up: be prepared to be patient, as it seems the restaurant has quite a few new staff members, so there might be a bit of a wait. However, I assure you, it's well worth it! We are definitely planning to return soon! Everything about this place captured my heart! From the incredibly friendly and accommodating receptionist at the front (a young Caucasian male—sorry, I can't remember his name), who was bustling around assisting guests, to our wonderful waitress (again, I apologize for not remembering her name), who was super friendly and took excellent care of us. Please give this restaurant a try; you won't be disappointed!

We went here for Mother's Day and Anthony was our waiter! He did a wonderful job! Very polite, attentive and customer service was outstanding! He was top notch! We live in Virginia, but if we ever find ourselves in MD again, we will definitely come back. Food was wonderful and the environment was great! The Manager came by with our drinks since it was so busy, nice to see the Manager also stepping in to assist. All around wonderfully run place!

This restaurant is a definite must-visit if you live nearby, or even if you're in Bethesda or Germantown. It's one of the best hot pots I've experienced in quite a while! Be sure to try the Fiesta and the chocolate fondue yin yang – they prepare it right in front of you and offer a great selection of breads and dipping options. The staff is incredibly friendly and enjoyable to be around. It's a fondue spot you simply have to check out!

We went to the Melting Pot to celebrate my mother's birthday. It was easy to make a reservation and we did not wait long to be seated. However, the service was extremely slow. It took 3 hours to complete our dinner. I had called ahead to make sure they could accommodate all of my food allergies and it never dawned on me that there would only be one burner at the table. I was not able to be accommodated because the rest of our group didn't have the same food restrictions and only one pot could be on the burner, so they ordered the regular menu items. When we asked about the two burner tables, they said that they were for larger parties, but there were several tables with two burners open and very few people in the restaurant. By the end of the night we donated to the charity they are raising money for and we received a discount coupon for our donation. However, we all agreed that most likely we won't be using it anytime soon. The food I could experience was great, and the server was really nice despite how slow he was, but this will not be my first choice of restaurants to eat at in the area.
